Sometimes to have great power comes great responsibility the Medici Bank has made a stir because of the Vatican account the family obtained on false pretense, Albizzi his childhood enemy has been vanquished by an assassins party as he and his son left Florence being he was exiled out of the city after "Cosimo' defeated him legally he had to get rid of Albizzi.

Cosimo convinces the Signoria to spare Albizzi's grateful widow confiscation, but rumors that he arranged for Rinaldo and his son's murder by mercenaries are taking seriously by all, even his family, so pope Eugene decides to leave his 'tainted' home

Cosimo acknowledges the pain and hurt he brought back into the home as he brought a slave back that he happened to sleep within secret and his wife is not happy about it who would be when the women live in her own home and sneak around with Cosimo in the darkness of night, it is sad to say that Cortissina has never felt welcomed during Cosimo's exile she was blamed for it and when she used her womanly wiles to get him back to Florence that still did not make her husband happy all the while she while being exiled parties in Milan and also games were played but it was all to get Cosimo back home.

Marco Bello grows inpatient he feels like Lorenzo is the killer but we all know that cannot it could be Marcos growing disdain of Cosmos money and power and arrogance he is already married but desires Magdalena who Marco truly loves but the feelings are not reciprocated back being she is in love with her Master Cosimo Medici.

At the end of this episode Albizzi wife publicly accuses Comsimo of murdering her husband and son the Pope leaves the house of Medici in fear he will be next to see Albizzi confided in the Pope and told him the plots of House Medici he is still mad that the Medici rose to power over a decade or more later.
